In November, the total sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 1,130,000 units, up 21.8% year on year, accounting for 43.6% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share increased 1.6 percentage points than the previous year. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 262,000 units, up 7.7% year on year, accounting for 20.4% of the total sales of cars, with a decrease of 0.2 percentage points on market share. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 605,000 units, up 53.1% year on year. The market share increased 4.5 percentage points, reaching 59.4%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 210,000 units, up 6.3% year on year, accounting for 89.1% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 1.4 percentage points on market share.
For the first eleven months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 9,251,000 units, up 20.2% year on year. The market share increased 1.6 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 42.7%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 2,077,000 units, down 4.6% year on year, with a decrease of 1.8 percentage points on market share, reaching 19.1%. On the contrary, the sales of Chinese brand SUV and MPV both enjoyed growth in sales volume and market share. The sales reached 4,560,000 units and 1,994,000 units respectively, up 57.4% and 23.2% year on year. Their market shares increased 4.4 percentage points and 1.4 percentage points, reaching 57.4% and 89.7% respectively.
