The market share of Chinese brand PCs yearly up

In June, the total sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 756,000 units, up 5.5% year on year, accounting for 41.3% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share increased 1.3 percentage points than the previous year. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 166,000 units, up 1.0% year on year, accounting for 18.8% of the total sales of cars, with an increase of 1.0 percentage point on market share. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 422,000 units, up 21.5% year on year. The market share increased 2.8 percentage points, reaching 56.9%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 125,000 units, down 16.3% year on year, accounting for 76.2% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 11.2 percentage points on market share.
  For the first half, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 4,940,000 units, up 4.3% year on year. The market share increased 1.1 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 43.9%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 1,064,000 units, up 0.8% year on year, with an increase of 0.8 percentage points on market share, reaching 19.7%. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 2,700,000 units, up 24.4% year on year. The market share increased 3.6 percentage points, reaching 59.6%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 859,000 units, down 20.8% year on year, accounting for 85% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 5.4 percentage points on market share.
