The market share of Chinese brand PC yearly up

In May, the total sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 730,000 units, up 1.8% year on year, accounting for 41.7% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share increased 1.8 percentage points than the previous year. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 162,000 units, up 1.0% year on year, accounting for 19.3% of the total sales of cars, with an increase of 2.0 percentage points on market share. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 397,000 units, up 18.6% year on year. The market share increased 2.4 percentage points, reaching 55.6%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 123,000 units, down 22.1% year on year, accounting for 81.9% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 5.5 percentage points on market share.
  For the first five months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 4,183,000 units, up 4.1% year on year. The market share increased 1.1 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 44.4%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 898,000 units, up 0.8% year on year, with an increase of 0.7 percentage points on market share, reaching 19.9%. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 2,278,000 units, up 24.9% year on year. The market share increased 3.8 percentage points, reaching 60.2%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 735,000 units, down 21.5% year on year, accounting for 86.8% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 4.2 percentage points on market share.
