In August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 303,000 and 311,000 units respectively, up 0.8% and 6.2% than that of last month. Comparing with last August, the production and sales were up 13.2% and 12.8%.
　　For the first eight months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 2,647,000 and 2,704,000 units respectively, up 14.8% and 16.9% year on year, 10.3 percentage points and 12.8 percentage points higher than the overall growth. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were down 12.3% and 10.9% than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were up 19.6% and 21.6%. The trucks continued growing rapidly.
