The market share of Chinese brand PCs declined

In March, the total sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 996,000 units, up 4.1% year on year, accounting for 45.9% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share increased 0.3 percentage points than the previous year. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 236,000 units, up 20.3% year on year, accounting for 23% of the total sales of cars, with an increase of 3.2 percentage points on market share. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 574,000 units, up 12.5% year on year. The market share increased 1 percentage point, reaching 62.3%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 141,000 units, down 19.6% year on year, accounting for 80.1% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 8.1 percentage points on market share.
  For the first three months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 2,756,000 units, up 1.3% year on year. The market share decreased 0.6 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 45.2%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 594,000 units, up 4.1% year on year, with an increase of 0.7 percentage points on market share, reaching 20.8%. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 1,672,000 units, up 12.4% year on year. The market share increased 0.6 percentage points, reaching 63%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 384,000 units, down 22.1% year on year, accounting for 80.6% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 8.4 percentage points on market share.
