In April, the auto export witnessed rapid growth yearly. This month, the volume was 94,000 units, up 5% than that of last month, and up 39.5% year on year, growing rapidly on yearly basis. As seen by type, the passenger cars reached 67,000 units, down 0.8% than that of last month but up 43.7% year on year. And the commercial vehicles were 28,000 units, up 22% than that of last month and up 30.4% year on year.
For the first four months, the export reached 322,000 units, up 31.3% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 234,000 units, up 35.2% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 88,000 units, up 22.1% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in March, the total import of automobiles was 104,000 units, up 2.0% year on year, and the total export was 76,000 units, up 8.7% year on year. For the first three months, the accumulated imports reached 281,000 units, up 5.5% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 236,000 units, up 22.3% year on year.
