The market share of Chinese brand PCs declined

In April, the total sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 810,000 units, up 10.5% year on year, accounting for 42.3% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share decreased 0.2 percentage points than the previous year. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 205,000 units, up 24.5% year on year, accounting for 22.1% of the total sales of cars, with an increase of 2.4 percentage points on market share. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 465,000 units, up 18.4% year on year. The market share was in line with the same period last year, reaching 57.4%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 101,000 units, down 15.3% year on year, accounting for 73.7% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 9.3 percentage points on market share.
  For the first four months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 3,564,000 units, up 3.2% year on year. The market share decreased 0.5 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 44.5%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 800,000 units, up 8.7% year on year, with an increase of 1.1 percentage points on market share, reaching 21.1%. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 2,137,000 units, up 13.7% year on year. The market share increased 0.4 percentage points, reaching 61.7%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 485,000 units, down 20.7% year on year, accounting for 79.1% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 8.7 percentage points on market share.
