The market share of Chinese brand PCs declined

In May, the total sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 786,000 units, up 7.7% year on year, accounting for 41.6% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share decreased 0.1 percentage points than the previous year. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 202,000 units, up 24.8% year on year, accounting for 21.5% of the total sales of cars, with an increase of 2.2 percentage points on market share. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 432,000 units, up 8.8% year on year. The market share increased 1.2 percentage points than the same period last year, reaching 56.8%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 103,000 units, down 16.2% year on year, accounting for 73.9% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 8 percentage points on market share.
  For the first five months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 4,350,000 units, up 4% year on year. The market share decreased 0.5 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 43.9%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 1,002,000 units, up 11.6% year on year, with an increase of 1.3 percentage points on market share, reaching 21.2%. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 2,569,000 units, up 12.8% year on year. The market share increased 0.6 percentage points, reaching 60.8%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 588,000 units, down 20% year on year, accounting for 78.1% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 8.7 percentage points on market share.
