In June, the production and sales of passenger cars reached 1,931,000 and 1,874,000 units respectively, down 1.2% and 0.8% than that of last month, but up 4.7% and 2.3% year on year, 1.1 percentage points and 2.5 percentage points lower than the whole industry on yearly growth. This month, the production was higher than the sales, of which such situation already been for four successive months.
　　For the first six months, the production and sales of passenger cars were 11,854,000 and 11,775,000 units respectively, up 3.2% and 4.6% year on year. As for the passenger cars by type, comparing with the same period last year, the production and sales of cars were up 3% and 5.5% respectively. SUV also enjoyed growth. Such figures were up 9.6% and 9.7%. For MPV, the production and sales were down 17.1% and 12.7%. The situation of crossed passenger cars was even worse, of which such figures decreased by 23.8% and 25.9%.
