In July, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 277,000 and 281,000 units respectively, down 6.4% and 14.6% than that of last month, and down 12.7% and 6.4% year on year. This month, the production and sales of heavy-duty trucks reached 66,000 and 76,000 units respectively, down 19% in production but up 1.5% in sales year on year.

　　For the first seven months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 2,432,000 and 2,477,000 units respectively, down 3.5% and 4.4% year on year. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were 248,000 units and 249,000 units respectively, down 7% and 3.9% than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were 2,184,000 units and 2,228,000 units, down 3.1% and 4.4% year on year, of which the heavy-duty trucks were 698,000 units and 732,000 units, down 2% and 1.9% year on year.
