The commercial vehicles up yearly, but growth rate fallout

  In 2018, the commercial vehicles continued to grow on yearly basis, but the growth rate fell back. Driven by the growth of trucks, the sales hit a new high. This year, the production and sales reached 4,280,000 and 4,371,000 units respectively, up 1.7% and 5.1% year on year. The growth rate dropped 12.1 percentage points and 8.9 percentage points than the previous year. Except for the February, September and October, others were all higher than a year earlier in terms of monthly sales. 

  As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were 489,000 units and 485,000 units respectively, down 7% and 8% year on year. Such figures for trucks were 3,791,000 units and 3,886,000 units, up 2.9% and 6.9% year on year. Of which the heavy-duty trucks reached 1,112,000 units and 1,148,000 units respectively, hitting a new high in sales. While the semi-trailers were down 19.6% and 17.2% year on year.
