The market share of Chinese brand PCs declined

  In February, the total sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 523,000 units, down 25% year on year, accounting for 42.9% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share decreased 4.4 percentage points than the previous year. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 117,000 units, down 23.2% year on year, accounting for 20.1% of the total sales of cars, with a decrease of 2.3 percentage points than a year earlier. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 311,000 units, down 25.6% year on year, accounting for 58.6% of the total sales of SUV, with a decrease of 5.5 percentage points than the previous year. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 74,000 units, down 27.2% year on year, accounting for 83.7% of the total sales of MPV, with an increase of 0.1 percentage points comparing with the same period last year.

  For the first two months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 1,356,000 units, down 23.0% year on year. The market share decreased 3.0 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 41.8%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 308,000 units, down 13.9% year on year, accounting for 19.7% of the total sales of cars, with an increase of 0.2 percentage points than a year earlier. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 823,000 units, down 25.2% year on year, accounting for 58.3% of the total sales of SUV, with a decrease of 5.1 percentage points than the previous year. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 178,000 units, down 26.7% year on year, accounting for 81.6% of the total sales of MPV, with an increase of 0.8 percentage points comparing with the same period last year.
