According to the statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of Chinese auto sales were 1,556,700 units in September, up 17.73% from last month, and also up 16.89% year on year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car production was up to 1,211,400 units, higher than the previous 18.89%, and up 19.34% year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle was up to 345,300 units, higher than the previous 13.84%, and also 9.01% higher than the same period of last year.
        From January to September, auto sales reached 13,138,400 units, up 35.97% year on year. Of which, 9,897,500 units passenger cars sold, up 36.68% year on year; Commercial vehicle sales reached 3,240,900 units, an increase of 33.85% compared with the same period of last year.
