According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，China automobile sales were 1,382,800 units in May, decrease 10.90% compared with last month, and decrease 3.98% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car production was 1,042,900units, down 0.11 percent year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle were up to 339,900 units, down 14.18percent year on year.
        From January to May, Chinese auto sales exceeded 7,916,200 units, a rise of 4.06 percent from a year earlier. Passenger car sales climbed 6.14 percent year on year to about 6,028,000 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 1,888,200 units, decrease 2.05 percent from a year earlier.
