According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，China automobile sales were 1,646,086 units in September, increase 19.19% compared with last month, and increase 5.52% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car sales were 1,319,502 units, a rise of 8.79 percent year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle were 326,584 units, down 5.92 percent year on year.
        From January to September Chinese auto sales exceeded 13,633,500 units, a rise of 3.62 percent from a year earlier. Passenger car sales climbed 6.38 percent year on year to about 10,537,800 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 3,095,700 units, decrease 4.79percent from a year earlier.
