According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，China automobile sales were 1,524,822 units in October, decrease 7.37% compared with last month, decrease 1.07% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car sales were 1,220,779 units, a rise of 1.42 percent year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle were 304,043 units, down 9.93 percent year on year.
        From January to October Chinese auto sales exceeded 15,160,600 units, a rise of 3.15 percent from a year earlier. Passenger car sales climbed 5.86 percent year on year to about 11,760,000 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 3,400,600 units, decrease 5.25 percent from a year earlier.
