According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，China automobile sales were 1,838,572 units in March, increase 17.33% compared with last month, and increase 1.02% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car sales was 1,399,966 units, higher than the previous 15.40%, and up 3.89 percents year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle was up to 438,606 units, higher than the previous 23.92 percent, and down 8.80 percents year on year.
        From January to March, Chinese auto sales exceeded 4,792,665 units, a decrease of 3.40 percent from a year earlier. Passenger car sales decrease 1.25 percent year on year to about 3,773,709 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 1,018,956 units, a decrease of 10.60 percents from a year earlier.
