According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，China automobile sales were 1,624,412 units in April, decrease 11.65% compared with last month, and increase 4.66% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car sales was 1,276,038 units, lower than the previous 8.85%, and up 11.71 percents year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle was up to 348,373 units, lower than the previous 20.57 percent, and down 14.97 percents year on year.
        From January to April, Chinese auto sales exceeded 6,417,499 units, an increase of 4.66 percent from a year earlier. Passenger car sales increase 1.89 percent year on year to about 5,049,090 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 1,368,409 units, a decrease of 11.62 percents from a year earlier.
