According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，China automobile sales were 1,606,000 units in October, decrease 0.73% compared with last month, and increase 5.32% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car sales was 1,298,900 units, decrease 1.27% compared with last month, and up 6.40 percents year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle was up to 307,100 units, increase 1.63% compared with last month, and up 0.99 percents year on year.
        From January to October, Chinese auto sales exceeded 15,700,700 units, an increase of 3.65 percent from a year earlier. Passenger car sales increase 6.90 percent year on year to about 12,571,100 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 3,129,600 units, a decrease of 7.97 percents from a year earlier.
