According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，China automobile sales were 1,809,900 units in December, increase 1.05% compared with last month, and increase 7.12% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car sales was 1,462,900 units, increase 0.11% compared with last month, and up 6.87 percents year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle was up to 347,000 units, increase 5.24% compared with last month, and up 8.20 percents year on year.
        From January to December, Chinese auto sales exceeded 19,306,400 units, an increase of 4.33 percent from a year earlier. Passenger car sales increase 7.07 percent year on year to about 15,495,200 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 3,811,200 units, a decrease of 5.49 percents from a year earlier.
