According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of China’s auto production was 1,899,400 units in April, decrease 8.91% compared with last month, and increase 15.29% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, production of passenger cars was 1,498,600 units, decrease 9.56% compared with last month and up 14.83% year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 400,800 units, decrease 6.41% compared with last month, and increase 17.04% compared with the same period of last year;
        From January to April this year, China automobile production reached 7,296,500 units, increase 13.44% compared with the same period of last year; Production of passenger cars was 5,881,900 units, increase 15.92 percent year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 1,414,600 units, increased 4.18% compared with the same period of last year.
