In September of 2013, the production and sales of automobiles were 1,926,600 and 1,935,800 units respectively, up 14.9% and 17.4% than that of last month and up 16% and 19.7% year on year. For the first nine months, the production and sales of automobiles reached 15,938,400 and 15,883,100 units respectively, up 12.8% and 12.7% year on year. Their growth rates enjoyed an increase of 0.4 percentage points and 0.9 percentage points comparing with the first eight months.
        Both over 1.9 million, September witnessed a flourish in sales and production, which ranked the third within the year. Besides, this month’s year-on-year growth rate could rank the second so far this year. However, the relatively low base of last September also influenced this growth rate.
