According the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 78,100 units in September, up 10.6% than that of last month, but down 28.9% year on year. The decrease further enlarged comparing with this August and continued to flounder.
For the first nine months, the export reached 716,700 units, down 8.8% year on year. The decrease rate enlarged 3.3 percentage points comparing with the first eight months. Among of all, the passenger cars were 434,000 units, down 10.8% year on year; and the commercial vehicles were 282,700 units, down 5.4% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, from January to August, the total export-import sum of auto products was 102.851 billion dollars, down 1.4% year on year. Among them, the import amount was 51.583 billion dollars, down 6.5% year on year; and the export was 51.268 billion dollars, up 4.5% year on year. Comparing with the first seven months, the decrease of the total sum continued to narrow, of which the decrease of import slowed down while the increase of export rose steadily.
For the first eight months, the total import of automobiles was 741,500 units, down 9.7% year on year. Among them, the import of SUV was 317,200 units, down 0.9% year on year; cars were 266,700 units, down 18.8% year on year; small buses were 136,000 units, up 5.6% year on year. The import of the abovementioned three types reached 719,900 units, accounting for 97.1% of the total import.
For the first eight months, the total export of automobiles was 639,600 units, down 3.5% year on year. Among them, the export of cars was 285,000 units, down 6.7% year on year; trucks were 199,300 units, down 11.6% year on year; buses were 107,700 units, up 33.5% year on year. The export of the abovementioned three types reached 592,000 units, accounting for 92.6% of the total export.
