In September of 2013, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were 350,200 and 342,300 units respectively, up 21% and 15.8% than that of last month and up 13.5% and 13.3% year on year. The year-on-year growth rates in both sales and production were higher than that of in July and August. The economic improvement would definitely benefit to the growth of sales and production.
For the first nine months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 3,011,300 and 3,033,800 units respectively, up 8.9% and 7.5% from the previous year. Their growth rates enjoyed an increase of 0.5 percentage points and 0.7 percentage points comparing with the first eight months. Among the different varieties, the production and sales of semi-trailers showed an increase of 34.2% and 28.6% respectively, keeping growth comparing with the first eight months. The buses remained stable, with an increase of over 10%. And the growth of production and sales of trucks were 7.3% and 5.7%. The growth of truck chassis was slightly higher than that of trucks; while the bus chassis was still lower than buses.
