The market share of Chinese brand passenger cars continued to decline on yearly basis

In May, the sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 580,600 units, down 2.72% than that of last month, but up 5.41% year on year, accounting for 36.51% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share decreased by 0.58 percentage points than that of last month, and decreased by 2.92 percentage points from the previous year.
        This month, the sales of Chinese brand cars reached 216,600 units, down 13.2% year on year. The sales accounted for 21.5% of the total sales of cars. The market share decreased by 5.1 percentage points comparing from the previous year.
        For the first five months, the sales of Chinese brand passenger cars were 3,064,000 units, up 0.94% year on year. The sales accounted for 37.97% of the total sales of passenger cars. The market share was down 3.83 percentage points from a year earlier.
        For the first five months, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 1,160,400 units, down 15.8% year on year, accounting for 22.5% of the total sales of cars. The market share decreased by 5.7 percentage points from the previous year.
