According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 81,000 units in June, up 6.1% than that of last month, but down 4.5% year on year. The auto export continued to decline on a yearly basis. Among different types, the passenger cars were 47,300 units, up 10.3% than that of last month, but down 2.2% year on year; and the commercial vehicles were 33,700 units, up 0.8% than that of last month, but down 7.6% year on year.
For the first half, the export reached 444,900 units, down 8.8% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in May, the total import of automobiles was 133,700 units, up 21.2% year on year; and the total export was 85,500 units, down 1.0% year on year. For the first five months, the accumulated imports of automobiles reached 572,800 units, up 35.1% year on year; while the exports were 367,300 units, down 6.5% from the previous year.
