According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 73,500 units in October, down 5.9% than that of last month, and down 18% year on year. Among different types, the passenger cars were 43,700 units, down 9.7% than that of last month, and down 25.3% year on year; and the commercial vehicles were 29,800 units, up 0.3% than that of last month, but down 4.2% year on year.
For the first ten months, the export reached 736,400 units, down 8.7% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 435,500 units, down 11.6% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 300,900 units, down 4.1% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in September, the total import of automobiles was 111,400 units, up 6.4% year on year, and the total export was 90,600 units, up 22.9% year on year. For the first nine months, the accumulated imports of automobiles reached 1,066,200 units, up 26% year on year; while the exports were 691,700 units, down 3.0% from the previous year.
