The sales of Chinese brand passenger cars increased by 21.5% than the previous year; and its market share increased by 3.9 percentage points. To be specific, the sales for Chinese brand cars were up 0.7%, but with a decrease of 0.4 percentage points in market share. On the contrary, the sales of Chinese brand SUV enjoyed growth both in sales and market share. Such figures increased by 111.6% and 16.1 percentage points respectively than that of the previous year.
