The National Energy Administration plans to suspend large-scale power battery cascade utilization energy storage projects
On June 22, the National Energy Administration publicly solicited opinions on the "Regulations for the Management of New Energy Storage Projects (Interim) (Draft for Solicitation of Comments)". The draft for comments pointed out that the relevant units of the new energy storage project should strictly perform project safety, fire protection, environmental protection and other management procedures and implement safety responsibilities in accordance with the requirements of relevant laws, regulations and technical specifications. Until a key breakthrough is made in battery consistency management technology and the power battery performance monitoring and evaluation system is complete, in principle, no new large-scale power battery cascade utilization energy storage project should be built. Power battery cascade energy storage projects that have been completed and put into operation should regularly evaluate battery performance, strengthen monitoring and strengthen supervision.
